We offer in vehicle instruction by appointment at your convenience. We pick up and drop off at home; school, work and special arrangements can be made for those in rural areas.

We offer monthly classroom courses in High River, Okotoks.  Black Diamond, Nanton and many other areas on demand.
We have 4 new automatic Toyota Corollas and a Hyundai Accent with a manual transmission available for training
 
What's New & Coming for HRDS

Class 5 - 58 hour Course

18 hours in the classroom, 40 hours driving - $ 2395.00.

This is for the new driver who will have difficulty in getting the extra additional practice time, because they don’t have access to another vehicle or a person to help with that additional practice.  

It takes on average at least 30 hours practice time to become a competent enough driver to pass the class 5 GDL road test.  This programme provides all of that time with an instructor. 

Toyota Tundra Truck

A Toyota Tundra will be available for one lesson during the whole course for any student that would like to experience driving a larger vehicle. Please arrange this with your driving instructor, during your lessons. 

Parent info Night

Approximately once every month, High River Driving School run the Drivers Ed classroom sessions in both High River and Okotoks. What we like to do is to invite the parents of the students who are taking part in the Driver’s Ed class, to visit either the High River or Okotoks venue and listen to what the driving school and it’s instructors are doing for the safety of your child during their driving tuition. All parents will have the opportunity to ask questions and it allows the driving school to explain what our expectations are from the student.
